From Januar to December, there’s things going on in Basel. For a lot of “Basler” Fasnacht is by far the most important event of the year. However, international trade fairs are a highlight of its own such as Baselworld and Art Basel. Other main events are music festivals, sporting events, the Swiss National holiday and of course the Herbstmesse.
